Practical information

Karlstad University is located outside the center of Karlstad city.

There are several buses that serve the university. Bus 54 is the university express bus that runs every 12 minutes during the day from the large square in the center of the city and from the bus stop on Drottninggatan. The bus trip is about 15 minutes. It costs 17 Swedish crowns one way.

The taxi trip to the university takes about 15 minutes. All taxis accept credit cards.
