The Network for Outland Researchers was formed at a meeting at Isegran archaeological station in Fredrikstad, Norway on the 28-29 January 2000. The participants were as listed on the page Initiators & links. The aim of the network is to gather researchers with a common interest about "Outland" or "Utmark", as described on the page Discussion. Members of the network keep contact via an e-mail list (utmark@kau.se) to which interested researchers may join. Please contact Stefan Nilsson (Stefan.Nilsson@kau.se) at Karlstad university to join this e-mail list. Here you can read the rules for the Utmark mailing list. The Utmark Website is made by Stefan Nilsson at Karlstad University for the Network for Outland Researchers. Its aim is to provide information about the Utmark mailing list. The Website and e-mail list is located at a server belonging to the Division for Social Sciences at Karlstad University (www.sam.kau.se/outland/). My address and phone number: Stefan Nilsson Note: At this stage the e-mail list has some limits. One is that the "Reply-to" address becomes only the senders, not the Utmark mailing list. Therefore one must type the mailing list address in the Reply-to field in order to reach all list members and not just the single sender. In MS Outlook it is possible however to create a new account, that shall be the same as one's standard e-mail account, but with utmark@kau.se as "Reply-to" address.
